My wife and I met my sister and her family in Quebec City for Winter Carnaval (the 70th!) this past month. We did so after being inspired by your Quebec City episode. We stayed at the Chateau Frontenac. It did not disappoint. We loved it! Merci!

I had a cagoule:

Mine had velcro and was waterproof and breathable, it would go all the way down to my thighs.
The velcro strips made it possible to bring it up into a coat that was waist length.

It kept me warm outside in the weather, and it couldv’e saved me in an emergency. The hood and pull straps made it very warm in there.

Hey! I just found the realsamanthabrown channel on youtube! I have been watching the live extra stuff with Samantha and husband, it is very entertaining! I’m so glad I found it, the videos here at this site don’t seem to be working but I can watch the recent episodes PLUS the extra ones with Sam and co.
Samantha’s husband is very cool! Their children are growing up so fast! For some reason, her daughter reminds me of a young Kurt Cobain. Not an insult, since he was a good-looking dude.

I’m so glad I found the realsamanthabrown stuff! Interesting that they are smitten with the Pacific Northwest! Haha! Beard invasion!
